Graphically displays the folder structure of a drive or path. TREE [drive:][path] [/F] [/A] /F Display the names of the files in each folder. /A Use ASCII instead of extended characters. -- Shenan Stanley MS-MVP -- How To Ask Questions The Smart Way http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html |

Thanks
My problem was that when I ran it the output flashed up in a'DOS' window and disappeared before I could read it. I will try writing to a file but I would prefer to use it interactively on the screen. Try "tree |more".
It still won't show file sizes though. -- Martin On 29/12/2005 11:15, a_killjoy wrote: > Thanks > > My problem was that when I ran it the output flashed up in a'DOS' window and > disappeared before I could read it. My friend recommended me View Folder Size Pro.
http://www.moveax.com/viewfoldersizepro/ He searched for software that shows folder size extension both on Windows 2k/XP and WinXP x64. I likes View Folder Size Pro because it faster and more customizable than other software. The program is fast, efficient and gives you a lot of configurable options. Try it. a_killjoy wrote: > Is there an XP equivalent to the windows / dos TREE program which displayed > a list of folders by size? thanks John |
