Does anyone know of any other sights that have message/help boards regarding
computer problems for the ignorant novice such as myself?:-) I would be interested in finding something akin to "computer help for dummies" with message boards, etc. Thanks. |

Quite a few MVP's have their own websites which may be of interest,
especially with specific problems. Try www.mvps.org for details. I also have my own XP Help and Support site at http://xphelpandsupport.mvps.org Admittedly these are not newsgroups but the MVP's have tried to put together on their individual sites the most popular troubeshooting tips. -- John Barnett MVP Associate Expert http://xphelpandsupport.mvps.org The information in this post is supplied "as is". Have you yet gone through the included Windows Tutorial and read through the articles using Start -> Help and Support? Or by hitting the F1 key in whatever application with which you need help. |

Computer Haven is wonderful for newbies. It is run by MVP Patty MacDuffie and it is a kind, caring place. I can't recommend it highly enough. Give it a try. http://computerhaven.info/ And just for your general information and to help you get the most out of *this* newsgroup resource: Since you are using the web interface, you may not realize that this is really a newsgroup. You will get far more out of this resource if you learn to use a newsreader. There are many good newsreaders for Windows, but you can use Outlook Express since you already have it.
