For the past three or four days, I have experienced the following problems:
Links to games on MSN.com do not work. I can access the game description but when I clidk on "play now" to play online, nothing happens. Links within bluemountain.com do not work either. When I click on "personalize and print your project", nothing happens. I can see the cards, make my selection and then nada!! The home page for microsoft.com is almost totally blank - just a few titles come up so I cannot access help from there. I accessed this bulletin board using a linlk in my "favourites" lists. Links on symantec do not work beyond the home page - i.e. I cannot access help area which would permit me to "speak" to a technician or acquire a telephone number to call for help. I have done a complete scan of my computer several times over the past few days using Norton. Yesterday, I purchased an Adware/Spyware program and scanned my system with it. It found and deleted some nuisance items but nothing substantial. It did not fix the inoperable links problem. I hope I have come to the correct source as I am getting frustrated!! Thank you for your help. panny6040 |

There might be something wrong with your internet connection setting or the firewall setting. Please try the following solution: Solution 1: Close all programs and check the internet connectivity by go to "My Computer" Click on "My Network Place." on your left hand side of screen, you will see some common taskbar. Under the "Network Tasks" click "View Network Connection" which will display your current network connection icon that you are using. Click on the icon, then move the cursor to "network Tasks" bar again and select "repair this connection." Solution 2: Go to "Control Panel," Click on"Internet Option" then click on "Advanced" tab and click "restore to default" button (This will restore your previous internet setting to the default setting Which's are recommended and do not make any change until you have to. Always use Windows Default Setting unless you know what you're doing.) Links are still not working. I hve done as Kevin suggested. Blue Mountain
help also made a couple of suggestions which I have followed. Still no success!! Is it possible that I have some sort of travelling virus which the vp's are not picking up? Should also mention that I have reinstalled active x and macromedia progs.
