Default Turning off auto-complete

Auto-complete is remembering too much stuff. For example, when I type the
letter "M" in the search window for google, and list of words I typed in
before starting with "M" shows up. I want to clear this list or at least
turn it off. Can anybody help?

Hi

Open Internet Explorer and go to Tools>Internet
Options>Content>AutoComplete... Enable/disable the various options on that
screen.

The particular item you're looking for is the Forms check box.
You are also supposed to be able to delete individual entries by using
the up down arrows and the delete key, although I have never tried it,
as there isn't anything in my list that I wouldn't want my mother to
see.

Probably to clarify your answer, in case the OP wasn't sure which options it
was...
