Default Backing up and restoring the registry

If I run regedit, then click Registry/Export File, then click the radio
button for "ALL", I will then successfully export the entire registry.
Let's say I call this new file successful.reg.

How then do I import this file into a corrupt registry while at the
same time getting rid of any currently corrupt registry entries? If I
simply click on successful.reg, the file will certainly be imported
into the registry. That's fine. But currently corrupt entries in the
registry won't be deleted. How can this be done? I would like to
delete the entire registry and replace it with successful.reg. Can
this be done?

Thanks,
GregandMary

Hi

If you use File>Export - not ALL of the Registry is exported. Some of the
security hives, + others, are left out.

Try the following small program:

Please read the 'Detailed Information'.
