copying in windows

Default copying in windows

in W98 and DOS programs i could navigate to a directory, local or network
drive, issue a copy *.txt all.all, and all .txt files in that directory
would be copied to a single file all.all can i do this in XP and how?

You didn't, not if you wanted it to work.

You did

copy *.txt+ all.all

and you do it exactly the same way.

Yes, and in the exact same way.

Are you asking how to open a command prompt? Start >> Run >> cmd
[Enter] is one way.

posting. The plus sign is not needed, as I've just verified by trying
it.
