I guess this is a pretty common problem; when I resume from my screen saver
my screen goes back to the welcome screen. I thought I knew how to fix it, I did properties>screen saver, but the box for the option is already unchecked. I didn't have a password assigned to my account, so I gave myself one, and then on resume it worked. I know I've done this before...I thought I remembered there being a "Go to welcome screen on resume" option, but the only option I have is "password protect on resume" HELP! |

Hi,
From the screensaver tab click power settings, then on the advanced tab uncheck "prompt for password when computer resumes from standby". -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Associate Expert - WindowsXP Expert Zone www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone Windows help - www.rickrogers.org "Sam" <Sam@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:8C479FB2-8C3F-4E61-B4C5-765FC1EB7DEA@microsoft.com... >I guess this is a pretty common problem; when I resume from my screen saver > my screen goes back to the welcome screen.
