Default Windows XP Toolbar

There has to be a simple answer that I havn't run across! I don't know what
I did, but my toolbar is now along the right edge of my desktop and I can't
get it to go back to the bottom of the screen.

Default RE: Windows XP Toolbar

Right click on the taskbar and uncheck 'Lock the Taskbar'. Once unlocked
left click on a blank space on the taskbar and drag it to the bottom of the
screen. Then, right click on the taskbar and check 'Lock the Taskbar' to
prevent you from accidentally moving it again.

If by toolbar, you mean taskbar, see the other reply to your post.

If you meant toolbar, such as Quick Launch, just right click on it and
select Close. To bring it back and on the taskbar, right click the taskbar
and select Toolbar> Quick Launch (or whichever toolbar was involved).

Or he can also drag the Quick Launch Bar (or other toolbar) back to the Task
Bar.

Maybe but I've never been able to get that to work, Ken. I can drag it off
to the desktop or to a monitor edge but have no luck dragging back to the
taskbar. Might just be a "personal problem" though.

I haven't been able to drag it back either.

Sorry for the late reply, Sharon, but to both of you, I've been able to do
this. You have to drag the handle (at the top, if the QL Bar is on the
side), not within the bar.

Ahh!
That works.
So I put it back where I want it.
