Thanks for that it done the job, but when instructed to restart the computer and I complied the system wouldn't restart, even from the start command. Also the last time I shut down by the power button and that's when the system was looping to just before the welcome screen. So I closed my internet connection opened task manager and shut down my AV program/Trend spyware/ad-watch/norton ghost tray and fortunately the system restarted, thought I'd mention it incase it's helpfull to anyone else.
