Default How do I change Internet Explorer home page setting from MSN home

I've tried using Tool>Internet Option>Save current and it keeps switching
back to www.msn.com. I want to change it to open to the front page of my
local newspaper. Now as I type this I see http://www.microsoft.com-new
question-http://www.statesman.com/. It is http://www.statesman.com that is
not being accepted as the new start page in IE.

Ancellary software I have on my compter includes
eTrust EZ Armor
Spybot
Spyware Blaster
AdAware Pro SE
Hijack This
CWShredder
Kryptel and Silver Key

Both AdAware Pro and Spybot S & D have a feature which blocks
changes made to Internet Explorer settings. Check any other
antispyware progams you have installed on your PC.

Good luck

Hi Astiman!

Go to the page that you want as your new home page. Then open Tools->
Internet Options. Where on the first page (should be the 'General' tab)
click on "Use Current" (page), and then click on "OK". Your new home
page will be the one that you switched it to.
