Default restoring defaults for viewing photos

I installed the GIMP...a photo viewing.editing/managing software...I then
uninstalled it...but now my photos all show: File type: TheGIMP20 in their
properties

I forget what it said (jpeg??) before I installed the program....but how to
get rid of this?

I used Add/Remove to uninstall the program...the program is not on my
computer anymore.

This is bugging me.

Any suggestions??

Using Win XP SP2

....Lisa
