Hi.
I was wondering if it was possible to set up something that allows me to change screen resolution quickly, maybe by clicking something on the desktop? I have a fairly small monitor so my resolution is normally set on 800x600 to make the fonts readable for the rest of the family. Some of my software needs to run in 1024x768 or it doesn't run correctly. Is there a quick way to switch maybe by clicking an icon so that I do not need to go into settings all the time to change? I know I am just being lazy.... Alternatively..... is it possible to set up my system so that my account boots to one screen resolution, and all the others to a different one? I am happy enough to keep mine on 1024x768 permanently if it doesn't upset anyone elses settings. I am using Windows XP Pro SP2, and have an NVIDIA graphics card. I am set up for multiple users on the one PC. Thanks in advance. Mark L. |

I run a NVIDIA GeoForce4 MX 440 graphics card and in the program under Tools
via Display via Control Panel you can set it up to show an icon which will allow you to change the resolution, refresh rate etc. "Mark L." <marklory@eclipse.co.uk> wrote in message news:mn.9d557d5b133e4bed.36571@eclipse.co.uk... | Hi. | | I was wondering if it was possible to set up something that allows me | to change screen resolution quickly, maybe by clicking something on the | desktop? | | I have a fairly small monitor so my resolution is normally set on | 800x600 to make the fonts readable for the rest of the family. | | Some of my software needs to run in 1024x768 or it doesn't run | correctly.
