Default Registry

i am trying to uninstall Microsoft Office but keep getting the error message
below.
--
HKEY_LocalMachine/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Run/OptionalComponents/IMail
with message-Cannot open key

have you tried to find this key in your registry?
Just follow the path given.
Maybe key is missing from registry that why yuo're getting error..

Insert your Microsoft Office CD in the CD drive.
When the setup menu appears, select the option
to "Uninstall Microsoft Office from this computer".

If the setup menu does not initially appear, then go
to Start > Run and type: D:\setup.exe , and hit enter.
(assuming the drive letter D: is your actual CD drive letter)

Hi,

A) Does the registry key exist? Start/run regedit and check.

B) Are you currently running in an admin account? You will need to be to
make changes in the HKLM branch in most cases.
