Default Wireless Mouse

I am having problems manouvering my mouse. I have cleaned it and it is
not really any better. I am therefore thinking of buying a wireless
mouse for my computer (Windows XP) Are they reliable and which one
should I choose please

Default RE: Wireless Mouse

Go to Best Buy, Circuit City or Radio Shack, etc. and have them give you a
demonstration. You're paying for it, you make the decision.

Be asware that wireless mice eat batteries. I used one for a while and went
back to an ordinary wired mouse for that reason.

Ordinary ball mice are very difficult to keep clean, and sooner or later end
up very hard to use. For that reason, I prefer a sealed optical mouse, but
one that's not wireless. Since I don't use my mouseanywhere but at my desk,
where the presence of the cord is no inconvenience, I really don't
understand the need for a wireless mouse. (at least for a desktop computer).

I agree a wired mouse is better on my desktop but I recently purchased a
Microsoft wireless optical mouse for my laptop. The battery problem is not
too bad with this one because the usb plug-in stores in a slot on the back
of the mouse and shuts it off when not in use. It is a big advantage for
keeping the batteries turned off when not in use.
I got it at Costco for $20.00
I hope this helps

The Wireless IntelliMouse Explorer 2.0 runs for months before requiring new
batteries.
Not having a cord getting caught all the time is a good reason to buy a
wireless, also no wearing out of the wires connected to the mouse which has
been a point of failure for a few of my mouses.
