My boss has gotten something I have never heard of before. Sometimes when
he is on the internet a green text "Forward" will show up on the bottom right of his screen, sitting on top of taskbar and some of the web page. When it is there, it is will sometimes keep him from going "back" to earlier pages, and sometimes when he clicks on it, it acts like a "forward" button, other times it does nothing. It does not have a GUI button or anything, just large green text. Has anyone heard of this before? |

Hi,
Sounds like some function of the keyboard. Does it have multimedia function buttons? He may be accidentally depressing one. -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Associate Expert - WindowsXP Expert Zone www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone Windows help - www.rickrogers.org "Vance McAlister" <v.mcalister@ejgd.com> wrote in message news:ubZZk167FHA.4084@TK2MSFTNGP10.phx.gbl... > My boss has gotten something I have never heard of before. Thanks, I looked into that, and it seems there are some Function buttons
that can mimic the Forward and Back buttons and they show up like that. But he is not pressing any of them and it is too new to be gummed up and sticking. I think I will try updating that display software to see if there is a glitch. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
