Hi,

my computer won't recognise usernames or passwords. The only places that
work flawlessly are the ones connected to microsoft. But when I visit my
other web based mail accounts I have to type my passwords and user names
every single time. What is the problem? Windows or explorer?

In Internet Explorer, go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Content tab. Click
on AutoComplete and check whatever boxes you want.

Yeah, I've tried that, but it doesn't work. On some addresses the system
never even asked if it should remember the data or not, and that's the
standard procedure, isn't it?

Hi,
Internet Options> Content> Autocomplete, "Prompt me to save passwords is
checked, right?"

Download and install Protected Storage PassView
http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/pspv.html Remove references to any site which
won't save or ask to save login information.

Sometimes clearing all passwords will reset autocomplete and the prompt will
return.
