Default Missing Temp Files

I am running Windows XP with Service Pack 2 & I have Free "Adaware" & "AVG
Antivirus" I am in the habit of emptying
my Temp. Internet Files every day or so & I can usually scroll for ages from
top to bottom as there are that many files in the folder but the last week
or so every day when I look there are only a few files in the folder from
the current day ( other than cookies) & I usually
visit the same sites daily...I was wondering if someone could give me a
reason why this has happened, where are all the files going & why, I
haven't ticked
"Empty TIF when Browser is closed "

Hi,

Have you reduced the size allotted to the TIF's?

I did reduce it the other day but changed it straight back to what it was
before, I can't remember if that was before or after it started playing up
