Can anyone help with this problem?
I have XP home, and when I boot my computer, and the "Welcome Screen" appears with my user accounts shown (administrator accounts, limited accounts, etc..) underneath one of my limited accounts appears some text, a message that states that I have "two unread emails". This is not the case, I'm using outlook express, and there are not unread emails in any of my email accounts, yet this message constantly appears when I boot and the welcome screen appears.... Really annoying! Any tricks or techniques to get rid of this? ? ? HELP? thanks for any support, Robert 12/09/05 |

Have you checked your deleted messages group of any other folders for unread emails? I dont recall that these messages simply referring to the inbox. Could be some other boxes that contain these messages. Just a thought. Thanks Doug,
I have checked all boxes, and everything is clear and empty. When I click the message, it gives an incorrect email address I was setting up in Outlook Express. I did a complete search on C:\ and I can't find the text, (wrong email address) anywhere. There's got to be a way to get rid of this text somehow? This has never happened before, even if I did have unread messages. "Doug" wrote: > Robert > > Have you checked your deleted messages group of any other folders for unread > emails?
