Computer has two drives. Drive c: went bad so I installed a new drive.
Apparently I had left an old install of windows on the slave drive. Of course I didn't think of unplugging the slave drive so the new installation went to drive F. First available drive letter. So I unplugged the slave and tried to format and reinstall. It wouldn't let me delete the partition, said it contained setup files needed for installation. How do format and reinstall so OS is on C: ? Just booting from the CD with the one drive attached didn't work. gls858 |
