Default Cursor does not move to the left side context menu

I have a mobility problem with my cursor when context menu appears on the
left side of the cursor.
For example, when I righ click at the extreme right side of the system
tray, it displays a context menu (e.g., Toolbars, Adjust Date/Time, and
others).
When I bring the cursor on Toobars, it diplay another context menu on the
"left side" of the cursor. Whne I try to move the cursor to the left side
to select a menu, the whole context menu disappears. It's frustrating.
Please advise me how to fix this problem. My OS is WinXP Pro-SP2. Craig

Craig, it sounds like you already know that you can keep the submenu on the
right side if you right click further over to the left on the taskbar.

If limited to the right edge, is the keyboard an option for you? If yes,
when the context menu appears and if the submenu does not appear press the
right arrow key to get focus on the first item and then down arrow. If the
submenu does appear, pressing the down arrow only will walk you through the
list. Trying this here: when right or down key is needed seems to vary
(can't pinpoint why) so experiment a bit.

Press Enter to select a highlighted menu option. Or perhaps the mouse
cursor will cooperate at that point.

Also pressing the key corresponding to the underlined letters for each
item, will select that item and if in the submenu, apply that toolbar.

Another thought... Using TweakUI for XP, to slow down the reaction time
(speed) of the menu might be helpful. The adjustment may keep the submenu
"up" long enough for you to get the mouse to it. If you want to give that a
try, you can download that power toy here:
