I have Media Player 10 installed and get a error msg (no number) "href is
null or not an object" can anyone tell me what that means and what needs to be done to repair it? I also made the mistake of downloading Quick Time because a program stated that I needed it to play a file, not only did it download Quick Time but also ipod and itunes which in turn tried to take over the music media functions, I did manage to uninstall quick time but ipod and itunes will not allow me to uninstall, tried to delete files but it tells me access is not authorized, I am logged on as the administrator, can anyone help on that one? Thanks in advance. |

When do you get this error, when trying to open a file linked to a site? In a website, the html code href in an address tag is used to reference hyperlinks, ie: <a>href=http://support.microsoft.com/search/?adv=1</a> If the address is used in a script, either the script is buggy or the address is entered wrong. > > I also made the mistake of downloading Quick Time because a program > stated > that I needed it to play a file, not only did it download Quick Time but > also > ipod and itunes which in turn tried to take over the music media > functions, I > did manage to uninstall quick time but ipod and itunes will not allow me > to > uninstall, tried to delete files but it tells me access is not > authorized, I > am logged on as the administrator, can anyone help on that one? See if System Restore created a point just before the installs. If it did restore that point. > > Thanks in advance. |

Brian, Thank you for your responce, it is very helpfull, I am learning here
as I go, I find it very interesting, did go to the links you suggested and they are a help, I now realize that the problem is not with the player but with the script for Internet Exployer thanks to you. It happens when I am utilizing the Radio function of the player and click a link within it, for example when trying to rate a song I get the error msg, it also says that the error is "expected"?? not sure what that means. If the script needs a line added to it maybe you may suggest a where I might go to for short course in doing so. You are right about the restore point I should have thought about that first thing, thanks for the reminder!! Also looked at your site and bookmarked it I am sure it will be a big help in the furture. Thanks again for your responce and help. RogerK -- RogerK "Brian A." wrote: > > > -- > > Brian A.
