run 'ipconfig' in the command window on win98
------------------------------------- StartEx, a program launcher, helps you categorize your programs with different colors, so you can find and launch them more quickly. Hi,
DOS prompt in the program menu, or start/run command. Then use winipcfg, not ipconfig, to get the IP. -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Associate Expert - WindowsXP Expert Zone www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone Windows help - www.rickrogers.org "Blair" <darrach@coille.com> wrote in message news:%23a0%23NUVAGHA.3936@TK2MSFTNGP12.phx.gbl... > > "Anderson" <anderson_geller@yahoo.com> wrote in message > news:1134630949.383442.325710@o13g2000cwo.googlegr oups.com... >> run 'ipconfig' in the command window on win98 >> > I am ashamed to admit I have forgotten how to open the command window. > Please help > Blair > > |

For XP:
Start-->Run-->CMD Then type 'ipconfig' in the command window. Have a look at this: http://www.microsoft.com/resources/d.../ipconfig.mspx ------------------------------------- If your Start Menu contains too many programs, try this little tool 'StartEx'.
