Default folder question

When connecting a device eg mobile phone with sim card, xp would usually
recognise the sim and automatically opened a folder for the sim card. How
do I check that xp is setup to do this?

Thank you in advance

Check in TweakUI > My Computer > AutoPlay > Types that AutoPlay is
enabled for removable drives.
TweakUI is available from
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/d...powertoys.mspx.
