Default Password required for sharing folders on a network?

For some reason, whenever I try to connect to a shared folder that I have
made available on my laptop that is running Windows XP Home SP2 on my
network, it now asks me to supply a password. It has never done this before
(though I can't remember if I have tried to connect to my laptop since I
upgraded to SP2).

I have shared a folder on my laptop (right click...Sharing and
Security...check the "Share this folder on the network" box, give it a name,
etc.) and then when I try to connect to it from my desktop (running XP Pro
SP1) it asks for a password.

This is fairly annoying. Any way to prevent this from happening and just
automatically connecting to the shared folder?

Thanks,
Mark V.
