Hey guys. Recently I posted about customizing the login screen, and the
response I got back recomended TweakUI for doing this. However, all it can do is keep my wallpaper and screensaver. It still uses the blue windows XP theme. Just wondering how to use the silver Windows XP theme instead. Thanks in advance. |

There are third party programs for editing these files and replacing the bitmaps they contain with your own. In my opinion, it's risky business altering a system file. There are other third party programs that "layer" a different screen over the default. Since these load very early in startup, the risk is added difficulty if the program does not work right (for whatever reason) or it conflicts with other processes. A search on google for "XP logon screen" and "XP boot screen" should provide leads to these applications. -- Sharon F MS-MVP ~ Windows Shell/User |

Look here: http://www.stardock.com/products/bootskin/ . They have a bunch of
free bootskins. I have used several without problems. Gene "Saitou" <Saitou@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:EB9105E8-D9E2-4FDC-9F0C-289A310B8BD3@microsoft.com... > Hey guys.
