Have failed to install any updates on my laptop since jan. 2004. Thought it
was set to auto, but it wasn't. Am now trying to bring it uptodate and it can't complete the install for windows Installer 3.1. It seems to need to do this install before it does anything else. Am at a loss as to what to do. Am trying to install a piece of software, but it fails because of the windows installer. The version on my laptop is 3.0.3790.2180. Any suggestions????? |
