When useing the Windows Explorer searh you can search for documents; then it
searches for things like .txt , .doc et cetera. I want to also have it search fro .sxw files. Is there a way to change what Windows 'thinks' is a document file? |

If you have Windows XP Home Edition, try this Click Start Menu and Click
Search and click the green arrow next to All files and Folders if you want to search for other files other than documents in Windows XP Home Edition or click on the green arrow to Documents to search for documents in Windows XP Home Edition. Hope this helps you. Egan "chasgl" wrote: > When useing the Windows Explorer searh you can search for documents; then it > searches for things like .txt , .doc et cetera. Type *.sxw in the Search box and all of your .sxw files should be found.
If you mean when searching for text. Search for All File Types (Line 136) http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm -- Hope this helps. Let us know.
