Cannot Install or Uninstall Applications
I have Windows XP Professional service pack 2 installed. I cannot install
some applications or uninstall some applications. I can't put my finger on why some and not others. The install or uninstall process starts but never finishes. What could be causing this?

Hi
Maybe some applications cannot install because they are not compatible with Windows XP Professional. Check for programs that are compatible with Windows XP Professional. Most applications require an uninstaller program to uninstall while some other programs need a CD to use to uninstall properly. If the uninstaller of a program stops in the middle of the process maybe it could be that it is partially corrupted or missing some files needed to uninstall. Hope this helps you.
