Rooted PC

The XP on my HDD is totally rooted.
Boot to last known configuration does not work. Booting with floppy
discs / repair does not work. Zip.

I've added another HDD into the loop, and installed XP again.

I start PC and am able to view other defective HDD. I've run Norton DD
on the other drive. No probs.

Problem. All my s/w is on other drive and am not keen on reinstalling
all software eg NAV

Q 1. Does anyone know of any s/w I can use to run a MSCONFIG type
diagnostic on the other defective HDD, so I can fix startup list?

Q 2. Is there anyway I can transfer the registry details of NAV from
the other drive to the active OS?
