Hi everyone i hope someone can help!
as the subject says my device manager on windows xp home edition does not show any of my devices at all, nothing comes up at all. I have recently noticed the problem because i disabled my network connection and when i went to enable it again i found the device manager showed nothing. The only explanation i can think of is that i ran adaware se and avg virus scanner recently which both picked up viruses causing popups and i deleleted the files. I have been trying to fix it for sometime now and got no where, some people have said that it happens when the plugandplay drivers arent started for some reason, but i checked in services and msconfig and they are running fine, Is there any way of fixing this without a full re-intall? |

Check that the 'Plug and Play' service is running. Check Event Viewer for
errors. -- Regards, Dave Patrick ....Please no email replies - reply in newsgroup.
