Default WinXP -MFT settings -Info required

Hi, I need help/advice on the MFT settings for a hard disk partioned into
"C" and "D" drives.
When using Diskeeper to analyze or Defrag both drives I get a warning that
"D" is using 97% of MFT and that I should increase the MFT setting.
I realize that Diskeeper has an option which can change the MFT, but I
prefer not to use third party software to make this kind of change, just
paranoid I guess.(G)
There is no seting currently showing in the registry for the MFT as far as
I can see so I guess the the defalt of 1 is being used.
If the command, "fsutil behavior set mftzone 2" is used will that change
the MFT on both drives "C" and "D: or should this command be used to just
change the MFT setting on "D" drive and if so what is the correct command
line to do that.
TIA
