Default Individual User Settings

I have searched the Knowledge Base for over an hour and not found the answer
to this question . . .

In the past, I have successfully had each desktop/profile with different
display settings. In our home, the users range in age from 7 to 57. Those
of us in the upper age range prefer a display where things display a little
larger, while the teenagers love those itty bitty icons on their desktop.

However, now when I change the settings on my desktop, it changes it on all
the profiles. How can I fix this?

Thanks for your help!

Sue

It cannot be done natively in Windows XP - nor has it ever been a native
feature of Windows XP.

A few third party applications offer this:

I am pretty sure - the logon screen will be set to the last logged on users
settings until the new user logs on.
