Default set up raid 0 exception 0D

WXP SP2 installed on Hitachi Sata2 250 gb HD, with 2 more of same drives
detected but not yet formated.

Hitachi has a dos tool, ftool.exe, which handles setting these drives to
Sata 2 and also setting up Raid 0 on the 2 non boot drives.

I created a boot CD which seems to work, the dos utility loads, and I can
agree to the EULA, but when ftool tries to read the drives, the first step in
process, I get:
"unhandled exception 0D at 03E7:0590 Error Code 0000, and a small dump of
more numbers etc.

Any ideas on how to get the system to handle this dos program? Hitachi, so
far, has no answer, since the message is a Windows message.
Thanks,
George

Default Re: set up raid 0 exception 0D

So why are you not setting up raid using mobo raid tools/utilities?
