Default Upgrade Home to XP problem

Hi,

I have a problem which is described perfectly in the Knowledge Base
article ID:888372
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;888372
The fix is to go into safe mode, then edit the registry. However, the
trouble is, I can't go into safe mode because the system is in the
middle of setup, and I get a message box telling me I can't go into safe
mode during setup, and the only optio is to reboot.
Any help welcome. What can I do? Is there a way to edit the registry
from a floppy boot, for example?

Regards,

SW
