Default NIC delay

I'm facing a very strange behaviour at one of the new DELL D610 notebooks.
The NIC doesn't start quickly at the first boot, it takes about 5 minutes to
start the network connection.

Can any one help.

You would have to be more specific. What kind of network are you on?
Did the machine always behave this way? If not, when did it start...?
My guess is that there is a problem with your network configuration /
settings, if it eventually starts.

Hi Allan,

Well the network is a domain network in thw company and I have this problem
with this machine only. After this long delay the connection to this machine
is working again and every thing work fine. Also all the configuration comes
from DHCP server so nothing to be configured locally at this machine.
