Remote registry access and XPSP2 firewall

What do I need to do to enable remote registry access through the XPSP2
firewall? I have allowed file and print sharing (I thought this would
do it because the registry is just a few configuration files after all).
I have also allowed remote desktop and the items I have specifically
allowed all work fine, just can't figure out exactly how to allow remote
registry access. Having difficulty finding info on how to do this while
googling usenet or the web. Thanks in advance for any help.

What type of registry access do you want to do remotely? Computer specific
("HKLM..."), or user specific ("HKCU...")? What file sharing authentication are
you using on the server (target computer) - Guest, or non-Guest?
