Default Autocomplete - but not in the entry-box

If I type something into a text entry boxes (such as Start > Run)
then autocomplete will put in any text I have used before.

Can I get autocomplete NOT to show the suggested word in the text
entry box itself but to show the suggested word in a list *below* the
actual box itself?

Verify if inline AutoComplete feature is turned on, and turn it off if so:

1. Open Start, Control Panel.
2. Double click Internet Options.
3. Click the Advanced tab.
4. Make sure that the 'Use inline AutoComplete' checkbox is unchecked.
5. Click OK.

Dan, that's great. I didn't realise I would need to be looking in
Internet Options for text boxes like Start > Run.
