Hmmm... :-))
Is the Theme that you downloaded in Add/Remove Programs? If so, try removing it that way. Otherwise, try a System Restore back to a point before you installed the Theme. -- Will Denny MS MVP Windows Shell/User Please reply to the News Groups "lilywhite74" <lilywhite74@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:3C0E25E5-022D-48E3-80A1-067DE9872180@microsoft.com... >I downloaded a desktop theme for my daughter(hello kitty!) and when i > installed it, it changed the welcome screen to hello kitty as well. how do > i > restore the original welcome screen?? my husband is having difficulty > coming > to terms with a pink hello kitty screen from which to log on!!!! |

Hi
There are a lot of 3rd party programs that can do this, that and... to a Windows System. Please be very careful what you download. P.S. R U saying that you have 'control' over the PC as opposed to your hubby? :-)) -- Will Denny MS MVP Windows Shell/User Please reply to the News Groups "lilywhite74" <lilywhite74@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:4C74A14A-9CA9-4753-8CB0-6142ABD26861@microsoft.com... > thanks. it turns out that system restore would have worked, but i did it > the > hard way by installing a program called .... well i cant' remember now, > but > it allows one to change the screen at will ![]() > and i had to dload another big ms programe to make that one work. network > something. i cant remember. it's way too late, and i've had enough of this > computer for now. > cheers. > > "Will Denny" wrote: > >> Hmmm... :-)) >> >> Is the Theme that you downloaded in Add/Remove Programs?
