Is there any setting or software that would make it possible to setup XPpro
for desktop icons to be located by default (on startup etc) on the right side of the desktop screen instead of the left? -- akm Thanks again for your help. ---- 'Ah, the miracle of computers!'... someone also said "To error is human, but to really screw up it takes a computer!" |

You can always move them there. They won't change when you restart. (At
least that is my experience, but I hardly ever restart - just hibernate) -- Cheers, Trevor L. Yup, just what he said. Right click on the desktop (though) and untick the option to auto arrange icons under the arange icons section of that context menu. Just an additional bit of info... You can align to grid (recommended by me at least) and then move 'em about where ever you want 'em. -- Galen - MS MVP - Windows (Shell/User & IE) "You know that a conjurer gets no credit when once he has explained his trick; and if I show you too much of my method of working, you will come to the conclusion that I am a very ordinary individual after all."
