Default RE: Infuriating taskbar behaviour

I'm also working in IT, also like to have the tasbar attached to the left
side of the screen, and also have the problem that it does not go in steps of
quicklounchbar icon width.

and my additional Issue is, that when width is aproximately 4 QL-icons,
after a reboot it is 3, next reboot 2 ...

how can I fix this so I dont have tio adjust it manually?
is there a registry key I can set to a fixed width during startup?

any help is appreciated!
... I have this simptoms on 4 different XP ( profesional and home edition )
