pardon me, are you trying to help me get better response?
I know the problem , I think know the method of making internet explorer menu extensions (including scripts, registry entry) I have verified those aspects. however, the menu extensions, no longer appear. Prior to security updates, I could use key under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\MenuExt to add menu extensions Current Documentation from ms seems to point towards HKLM. Is this the only way and HKCU gets ignore for menu extension? I was trying to get some more info without having to ask for it. But that
didn't work. I am supposed to know what CULM registry means? Current User Local Machine? HKCR, HKCU, HKLM, HKU or HKCC If something is in HKEY_CURRENT_USER it applies to the logged on user only. If something is in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE it applies machine wide. It doesn't matter who is logged on. That something could be in either or both hives. Anything in HKEY_USERS\SID# will be the same as what's in HKEY_CURRENT_USER with that user logged on. > after security updates, menu extensions for internet explorer vanished. Vanished from where???
