Is it possible to change the settings in the picture and fax viewer that comes with XP? Or would I be better off using Irfanview for user-friendliness? I'd also like to know if it's possible to have a preview of a picture generated on the side when you single click on a picture, like you could in Windows 98SE? I just find the Tiles view annoyingly... big! Thank you for your time. Watchman ![]() -- 'Anyone who isn't confused doesn't really know what's going on' |

The preview thumbnail on the bottom left shows up when you right click on a blank space in the folder > view> details, list, icons, or tiles is selected. Obviously the preview is not needed in thumbnail or filmstrip view. Click the double arrow to the right of "details" on the bottom left of the screen to show a preview of the selected image. XP will remember to leave this as you last left it so next time you open a picture folder the details will show your selected picture. |
