Before you even think about installing on drive D: you might like to
consider creating a partition on drive D: to hold XP Pro. If you don't
create a partition XP Pro will take up the whole 200GB of your hard drive
and, unless you have thrid party software like Partition magic, you will not
be able to reduce this size to allow you further space for partitions. It is
better to partition before or during installation. Visit my website
http://xphelpandsupport.mvps.org Click on the Win XP Faq button and take a
look at question 41 'how do i partition and format my drive using windows xp
set-up'

Once you have created a partition just make sure that, during installation
of XP Pro, you direct it to install on the correct drive. Once installed on
drive D: and you have rebooted a menu will appear asking you to choose XP
Home or XP Pro.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by 'Can u create a partition of C even even
thought the os is already
installed?' If you are referring to creating an 'image' of drive C: for
backup purposes, then yes this can be done but you need third party software
such as Norton Ghost.

I would suggest that you purchase and install a new hard drive,
install it as a slave drive, then boot from the Windows XP Pro
CD and install it on the new slave drive. It will automatically
configure a dual-boot loader, allowing you to boot into your
existing Windows XP Home Edition installation or the new
Windows XP Pro installation.
