I'm using Active Desktop to display a web based desktop background (from an
internal web server) This is basically an html page with the background color set and several icons. This works OK, and the Windows desktop icons appear with the border (which I understand cannot be made transparent when using web backgrounds). The only problem is, the icons sometimes appear with white backgrounds which looks terrible - however when you refresh the desktop (F5) the icons appear correctly. This happens on various different machines so it doesn't look luike its hardware related. There are some styles set within the html page - could the desktop be using those settings for the icons? |
