Yes, you can receive pics from another webcam without having to have a webcam set up at your end.. The best way to communicate is to use a headset, ie.. headphones with built in microphone, available from all good computer stores.. -- Mike Hall MVP - Windows Shell/User "+++Bobby "O"+++" <rmo555@cox.net> wrote in message news:hRGkf.35694$4l5.16921@dukeread05... > Thanks, I installed Yahoo! I've read where the Logitech QuikCam Pro 5000 has echo canceling circuitry
and, therefore, can be used without earphones. Any feedback on this? The Logitech webcams have built in mics, but can be raspy.. a headset is a
much better option.. Plantronics do some nice lightweight headsets with good quality boom mics attached.. other makes are as good but tend to be heavy or make one's ears hot.. -- Mike Hall MVP - Windows Shell/User "+++Bobby "O"+++" <rmo555@cox.net> wrote in message news:x1Lkf.36023$4l5.14381@dukeread05... > I've read where the Logitech QuikCam Pro 5000 has echo canceling circuitry > and, therefore, can be used without earphones.
