Default Administrator Passwords

Windows XP Professional:

I changed the administrator's password, and it seems it is not what I
thought I created.

What is the process to remove or change the password now?

Thanks,

Did you see "Galen"'s response?
Did it work?

How can I gain access to a Windows NT/2000/XP/2003 computer if I forgot the
administrator's password? How can I reset the administrator's password if I
forgot it

Login Recovery is a service to reveal user names and recover passwords for
Windows NT, 2000, XP, 2003 and Longhorn. As long as you have physical access
to the computer, your passwords can be recovered

Some are free. I think.

I have tried this service, and uploaded the appropriate file. I have to
wait up to 48 hrs. for a reply, but it seems very straight forward.
