Default Change $ into Euro

Is there a Microsoft tool etc available to change the $ sign that is inserted
when I press CTRL+4? Change it into a EURO sign that is.

Thank-you.

That is a hard coded keyboard item. If you have keyboard mapping
software you could probably change it. Try using Alt + 0128

On international keyboards, the Euro sign is placed on AltGr+E in the
same way as the GBP sign is AltGr+3 and the USD-sign is AltGr+4.
