I would like to be able to customize the order of the applications as they
appear in the Quick Launch tool bar, and especially those that show on the bar at all times without having to click the >> button. |

1.) Right-click and drag them in any order you like.
2.) Uncheck 'Lock the Taskbar' and adjust the width accordingly. -- Regards, Dave Patrick ....Please no email replies - reply in newsgroup. To change the oirder, just drag them into any order you want. To see all the icons and not the >>, drag the divider at the end of the Quick Launch Bar to the right. Make sure the Task Bar is unlocked first. -- Ken Blake - Microsoft MVP Windows: Shell/User Please reply to the newsgroup |

cdrobsonjr,
In addition what have said, you can also rename the shortcuts in the Quick Launch bar, adding a numerical value and space to the name. Right click shortcut> Rename> Change the name. I have the following in my Quick Launch. 01 Launch Internet Explorer Browser. 02 Launch Newsletter Identity via script. 03 Launch OE Main Identity via script. 04 Show Desktop. 05 Launch OE News Reader via script. 06 Yahoo Messenger 07 Aim Messenger etc..... So when I right click the list and chose "Sort by Name", this order comes up automatically. -- Add MS to your News Reader: news://msnews.microsoft.com Rich/rerat (RRR News) <message rule> <<Previous Text Snipped to Save Bandwidth When Appropriate>> "cdrobsonjr" <cdrobsonjr@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:0EAC79F8-E74F-4DFB-93A2-17BA1DCF182F@microsoft.com...
