Default Outlook Express - opening pdf files

I am getting PDF files through my outlook express and when I double click on
the attachment it is telling me: "This file does not have a program
associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the
Folder Options control panel". Anyone have any idea how to do this?

Do you have Adobe Reader installed? It will be necessary to read the .pdf
file format. In Windows Explorer go to Tools>Folder Options>File Types.
Associate the .pdf file type with Adobe Reader.

Install a program that will associate itself with PDF files..
(Adobe Acrobat Reader comes to mind.)

Adobe Reader comes to mind first. But here,
http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/rd_intro.php , you'll find a free PDF
reader with a smaller footprint than Adobe.

Curt.
