How do I change the amount of windows i can have open before the tabs start
to group? Right now it's at 4 and I want to increase the number.

For example, when I have 3 IE windows open, they all have individual tabs in
the taskbar. But when I open one more, they group up.

Download and install TweakUI:

Microsoft PowerToys for Windows XP (TweakUI)
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/d...powertoys.mspx

After installing, go to Start > Programs > PowerToys for Windows XP >
TweakUI. Click on the "+" next to "Taskbar and Start menu", then click
on "Grouping" and make your desired changes.
